Coincidentally, I once nearly interupted a taping of "The Tonight Show" when South Park creators Trey and Matt, both guests on the show, were being rude to Brooke Shields, who was also a guest. But then I realized Shields was in better physical condition than I am and could have easily kicked the boys' across the studio should she have wanted to. That is what happens when a sober mind is allowed to reason. Sutherland has already been given too many chances. I hope he can get his private sh*t together at some point, but he no longer deserves to be the front man of a television series (even a really, pathetically crappy television series). He should not engender support from anyone until he makes the conscious choice to change what he's been doing. In the meantime, he poses a danger to himself and others, and that isnt fair to the rest of us. He is being, to use the jargon, enabled. It needs to stop.
