I don't think Better Off Ted is a great show, but I have been watching it. Why? Because at my work we deal with R&D directors on a daily basis, and I think the show does a commendable job of portraying that line of work in the sitcom format.
But I do have to ask a question: Why does Victor Fresco keep getting opportunity after opportunity when I think (but, surely, I've got to be wrong) his last successful series was Evening Shade? BTW, as much as I have issues with my employer it was quite cool to hear it get several mentions in the season finale of The Big Bang Theory. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ron Casalotti Sent: Monday, May 11, 2009 10:49 AM To: TVorNotTV Subject: [TV orNotTV] Better off with 'Better Off Ted' Haven't heard much about this show on here but if you're not watching 'Better Off Ted' you're missing out on some of the best comedy - -and characters -- since 'Arrested Development'. Of particular excellence is the performance of Portia De Rossi as 'Veronica' -- the tight-faced head of the office and the "fake" commercials for Veridian, the company portrayed in the show, that run at the first break. Very funny and well worth your time. Ron Casalotti Wayne, NJ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV .... Smart (TV) People on Ice!
