Last year at about this time, I added James Poniewozik's Time Magazine TV blog to my RSS reader. I took it off a few weeks later because he was spoiling shows I'd recorded and hadn't watched yet, and he and his frequent commenters spent most of their time in deep discussions of shows I don't watch.
At the end of the TV season he asked the commenters for suggestions for a collective summer activity and I suggested that since so many old shows are now available online, he could pick an old show, everybody could watch that episode, and hen we could discuss it. As far as I recall, that suggestion never went anywhere there. I don't know why I never brought it to this list/website. We are always looking for content for the website and a series of "How well does it hold up?" posts with links to old episodes is a good idea for rerun season.
