As far as I can tell, there's a "there but for the grace of God (and
fertility treatments) go I" sense to it. The entertainment value, presumably
comes from the fact that these aren't your kids - and that kids are normally
cute (except when they're screaming like banshees).

No. Had she figured it out, the show would have been cancelled after the
