For reasons I can not explain I watched the MTV Movie awards last night. This clip was not funny (though I hasten to add that in general I like Cohen, and though Borat was hilarious). The Zen of this episode was that it was unfunny if it was an accident, and also unfunny if it were staged (which it obviously was). But this was hardly the least funny or explicable sequence in that show. I like Samberg, but he was really awful, and the show was incomprehensible. Plus, half the time I couldn't tell if I was watching the MTV awards or the Nickleodian, or Disney Awards. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
