One error in the above: Trump does not have only ONE bad side. Here is what I'll grant Ms. CA: She stated an opinion which, right or wrong, she was empowered to do. To my mind, you have to give her credit for running with an actual opinion, even though she fumbled the ball with the "opposite marriage" reference. In the pageant world populated by speak-no-evil bimbos, she said what she felt. But as hapless as the populace can be sometimes, was there someone out there who was on the fence about gay marriage, whose opinion was solidified because of what Miss California had to say? Neither side gained any ground here. The right was (again) holding up a pretty face instead of someone of substance and the left was (again) beating up a Barbie doll whose main crime was that she had the misfortune of being thrust into the media spotlight. Because Barbie dolls get better ratings than stories about a war that drags or an economy that sags. So now she can appear on Fox & Friends who will be smug towards their political opponents and she won't appear on Countdown where Keith will be smug towards his political opponents. The world keeps spinning on its axis, and it will continue to spin even after the former Miss California resorts to a Penthouse layout to pay the bills. -- Kevin M.
