Despite good ratings for three seasons and a projected film and U.S.
TV version, ITV's dinosaur drama with expensive CGI effects (aired on
BBCA here) got canned for money reasons:

The show's producers had proposed a co-production deal with a British
digital channel (perhaps not-owned-by-ITV SciFi UK), but as the
Guardian's Dan Martin says, that was "a leap of faith too far into the
realms of common sense."
