So I don't normally watch Fallon's show, but since I've been watching Conan regularly, I've also been catching the first few minutes of Late Night, and I have a Stupid Question®:
During the credits/intro, just after the "legendary Roots crew" are introduced, I noticed that drummer ?uestlove shouts something into his mic. Only recently did I notice that he's actually shouting the episode/production number - last night was "72!", tonight was "73!", etc. Was there ever a reason given for why ?uestlove is actively counting the shows like this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
