NBC may be under some sort of contractual obligation to the All England Tennis Club to air the highlight show before a certain hour. Either that or tennis fans don't stay up until 12:37.
I'm actually wondering about the Winter Olympics next year. In recent years, they've had Leno do a monologue, then throw it to the late- night highlight show. But since the next Games are in Canada, will NBC send Conan to the Olympics?
