She delivered one of my favorite television lines in an episode of Golden Girls:

Mexican Vendor: "You Americans! You base everything on the almighty dollar!"
Rose: "We're trying to learn the Metric system: it's not that easy!"

It's a great line for the character, but White sells it so well,
pleading with the vendor for empathy and understanding

And, of course, there's her line from the "French" episode of Password
Plus where quasi-guest host Tom Kennedy screws up a penalty given to
Dick Martin for giving the clue "France" for "French", and the show
simply falls apart, leading White to turn to the camera and say "Don't
worry, Allen, everything's fine!"

Yeah, the day Miss White shuffles off this mortal coil will be a sad one.
