Good idea - but not good enough. They should give out all of those boring awards to quality shows and fine writing and acting that mainstream Americans don't watch the night before and show it on PBS, then let the Emmys be nothing but a celebration of the shows real people like - CSI and American Idol and Who Wants to Dance? That would really "maintain the integrity of the Emmy brand".
