Picture this:  you are an aspiring documentarian.  You become obsessed with
the movies of John Hughes, and in reading about him, learn that he basically
left Hollywood in the early 1990s and has given few interviews since.  You
decide to make a movie about his works, talking to many of his acquaintances
and fellow filmmakers about his work and style, hoping to earn the chance to
interview the man himself.  Your film is in the can awaiting a distribution
deal. 

And then, John Hughes dies.
