"Short Attention Span Theater" was revamped 20 or 30 thousand times
over the course of the run of the series on Comedy Central (or Comedy
Channel or HA!). Comedian Marc Maron was one of the show's last hosts,
and one of my favorite "patients" on "Dr. Katz: Professional
Therapist." His most recent big gig was as co-host of an Air America
show (yeah, he knows, too). He just started his own podcast entitled
"WTF?" which is actually worth a listen. The first installment
featured an interview with "roastmaster" Jeff Ross. Their
deconstruction of why the Chevy Chase roast didn't work was
interesting, as was the story of Ross' brief moment on "Dancing With
The Stars." On the second installment, Maron deconstructed his own
career.
