televisiongirl, to moi:
> Have fun. It is usually quite crowded but entertaining.

I took over 50 pictures, but with this palm-sized camera set to low
resolution, they were all 176x144. They would look pretty sucky blown
up. Had I used high rez I would only have been able to get 16-18 shots
before the chip would be full.

I think that the last time I went there, the maitre d or whatever at
SPQR was a pretty-cute-looking woman... it was a guy this year. Casa
Bella's greeter was a redhead, not bad, but the cutest goils were
handing out either pieces of strawberry-flavored sugar-free gum, or
paper fans emblazoned with one or the other logo of the CBS-owned FM
stations.

I tend to stick to the 'walking' food there (as much as I love pasta),
only because it's discourteous IMO to have the radio on my head to
listen to the Yanks, who are inevitably playing the same time. I did
go inside John 'Cha Cha' Ciarcia's place (http://
www.chachasfamousfoods.com/) to have a cold cappuccino, tho. He looked
marvelous, but then straightaway the big parade began, which included
the Staten Island Little League team, radio personality Joey Reynolds,
and the big stashoo of the titular patron saint.

The first place I went to take pix was the Stadium, which was
apparently already open for batting practice; you can't go see the
museum in the new place without a ticket. The fan festival WCBS-AM was
facilitating was in the plaza of Lincoln Center, and reminded me of
several other events their company's held in the past: largely
businesses that advertise on their air.
