For the record, the pilot is a brilliant concept less than brilliantly
executed. The lead character has too many side relationships. Give the
guy a best friend or an ex-girlfriend or a wacky boss, but not all
three. Make him an alcoholic or a pothead, but not both.

I can easily see Ted Danson emerge as the sidekick-of-sorts, just
along for the ride. He could have a dry, inappropriate wit similar to
Robert Culp in "Greatest American Hero."
