I liked it too. I think the first Daily Show award (for writing I think) did not have Hodgman or the female voice over - is Hodgeman a writer on the show and on stage himself at that time (I didn't see him)? I thought the volume (as someone else noted) as not quite right, and neither was the timing. Too often he was talking right up until the nominee began talking. I would have liked it better if he could have stopped talking around the time they got to the stage. The main thing that put me in a good mood about the show was the early win by Chenoweth. After she won, almost nothing could have happened to spoil that show for me (well, if one of the Boston Legal guys had won it may have come close, but disaster averted). What also always warms my small and petty heart is to see Dave nominated and Leno not. I am happy to see Stewart win, though I would have given the writing award to Colbert and co and the best show to TDS. Two questions raised by the winners: I have never seen either Breaking Bad, or the United States of Tara. Nothing will ever convince me that both Hamm and Fey did not deserve to win, but does anyone want to suggest that these programs are worth finding and checking out? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
