Adding to this, Doug Naylor says in this video ( http://uktv.co.uk/dave/video/aid/627847 ) that he would like to make a series 10, but due to the events of BTE, he considers series 9 retired like a sports jersey. So, when they come back, it'll be series 10, with BTE NOT being series 9.
