I did both the WB and Paramount tours, probably about 10 years ago.

I thought both were good and worth the price.

The only reason I would say that the WB tour was the better of the two
was because we were taken inside a soundstage while the cast of a sitcom
(Family Matters) was working on the show. And I got to talk with the
technical director.

I remember walking the Paramount Tour while you ride in a tourmobile
type vehicle at Warner Bros.

I've taken the Paramount tour twice, and thought it was pretty good. I
haven't been back in 11 years, so I have no idea how the prices are
these days. They seemed reasonable when I went. The guides make a
point to discuss studio history, take you by any active sets, and maybe
inside if nothing's taping right then. I've not been to the WB tour,
but I suspect the Paramount tour has more walking.

If you're a fan of Conan, and there was some way to figure out if The
Tonight Show was to do its TramTacular segment while you were there
(where they do a little comedy bit in front of the Universal Tram as it
passes by), it might be worth going to the Universal tour. Otherwise,
it's more of an amusement park ride than a studio tour.

Yeah, Warner Bros is the one I know is good, but ever since learning
Paramount offers tours, I've been itching to give theirs a try, too.
If you can hope the fence at Chaplin/Henson studios, that's the lot
I'd kill to visit, but they don't offer tours.
