Playboy and 7-11 parted ways thanks to Ed Meese back in the 80s.

That said, there's a fair amount of magazines at your local 7-11 that make 
Maxim look tasteful, so it's hard to say what has been "won" or "lost" here.

Bah.  Playboy qualifies as porn in the same way that the opening
sequences of Roger Moore-era James Bond movies qualify as porn - you
see some T&A, but the full-on bajingo shot is pretty rare, even in
this day in age.
