The scripts (only a couple I think) were taken from the Star Trek series that was shelved in the late 70s when Paramount finally decided it wanted a movie instead of another show. So they only felt dated rather than recycled. Splitting hairs, I suppose.

Bob's mother and I may be the only two people in America still watching L&O (as long as Connie is still our sexy ADA I will keep recording it). Kevin's comment is even funnier than he thinks (and we know how funny he must think it is). At least twice this season L&O has recycled plots so closely from earlier years that they have had to put dialogue into either Cutter or Jack's mouth acknowledging it (something like "You can't indict the CEOs of the Wall Street brokerage houses for murder under depraved indifference!" "Why not, how is that difference than what you did in Season 8 with the tobacco companies?"). It has not been unlike that season when Star Trek Next Generation used those scripts from TOS because of the writers strike. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
