After 29 years on the dawn patrol, Carl Kasell's last "Morning Edition" newscast will be on Dec. 30--he'll continue to be Peter Sagal's wacky sidekick on "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!" and act as a goodwill ambassador of sorts for NPR:
