Weird Al. Dec. 16 live telecast costs $12.50, Dec. 17 repeat costs
$10 (which is less than a first-run movie at night). At most AMC,

Two weeks prior, Lonesome Rhodes Beck presents an update of his
bathetic live performance of "The Christmas Sweater" live on Dec. 3,
repeated on Dec. 10. The trailers indicate that in last year's
performance, Lonesome Rhodes fell flat on the stage at one point.
Maybe he won't get up this year.

Other Fathom Events TV: Elizabeth Vargas hosts a doc infomercial for
Doctors Without Borders called "Living in Emergency" on Dec. 14 and if
you can't wait for the PBS rerun, the Metropolitan Opera's production
of "The Tales of Hoffman" is live from New York on Dec. 19, repeated
Jan. 6. Fathom's web site for locations and tix.
