Thanks for this list - always helpful and interesting - though it seems that the more marathons of this type there are, the less interesting they are. Where is the Star Trek marathon, at least? TNT seems to be doing a mini-marathon of The Çloser (when did they last do the Full Monty on L&O - was that last New Year's?). There was some interest in seeing 30 on 30 reruns expressed last month, so this news is particularly welcome. Thiis is more of a mini-marathon (4 hours) and is what my TiVo will be watching for me while I waste time in non-tv activities with family and friends. Here is what my TiVo guide has (times Pacific): 12:00 - King's Ransom (Trade of Gretsky from Oilers to the Kings 1:00 - Muhammad and Larry (Ali-Holmes 1980 fight) 2:00 - Without BIas (death of Len Bias) 3:00 - Small Potatoes (Impact of the USLF) >From what I can tell, 6 of these have aired already (the 4 above plus "The Band That Wouldn't Die" (not sure what that is about - the Stanford Band?) and the one on Jimmy the Greek (both of these will be re-run on New Year's Day). There is also on on The U, which must be about Miami, and I can't tell if that has already run, or will run for the first time at the start of December. I saw a piece on Reggie Miller and Spike Lee the other day while watching an NBA game - Lee is working on an episode now on Miller, and it looks like it will be aired in March.
