I'm watching a preview (20 minute) screener of the first episode. Not only is
Ray Romano one of the leads, but he's credited as a co-creator (a different guy
than Phil Rosenthal, who developed Everybody Loves Ray) of the show. This
hasn't been part of the endless promos, but I'm not sure why. The new show's
not a comedy (it's not trying to be, though there is humor), but it doesn't
seem crazy to plug a show creator's pedigree when his previous work won awards.
Just wondering out loud.
