NPR has told political reporter Mara Liasson that it would prefer that
she not make her frequent appearances as the house lef--uh, centrist,
to be honest with you--on "Special Report w/Brett Baier" on FNC and
"Fox News Sunday" on the mainline Fox network--presumably under
pressure from the Obama Administration, if you wish to presume
(Liasson says she's locked into a long-term contract with Fox News):

NPR listeners have long complained about Liasson and colleague Juan
Williams' frequent pundit gigs on FNC (WIlliams has even become FNC's
"house Negro," even filling in for Billo on the "Factor"). It seems
like it takes a shift in the White House for the net to take these
complaints seriously, which could lead credence to the Amy Goodmanites
who see NPR as butt-kissers for whoever's in power in Washington (and
NPR lost whatever anti-DC Establishment cred it had about the time ABC
started sharing Cokie Roberts).
