A fair point (all of them). However, Carla was the one character most likely
to act like an adult, and I felt the absence of someone like that pretty
clearly in the new season.

I will keep watching.

I thought episode three of the new Scrubs was the best so far, though
I prefer JD's scenes from the second episode. That he would actually
work together with Cox to teach the new girl a lesson showed some
maturity.

I don't miss the Carla character. When you think about it, Carla was
the only one-dimensional, static character of the original series. All
the other regular characters changed in some form or fashion, but
Carla was always Carla. It wasn't a bas character, and Reyes did a
fine job in the role, but she had nowhere to evolve to in this new
incarnation.
