I might otherwise be inclined to scold the Gawker for its snarky and mean-spirited summary of an old man on the occasion of his death. He was a human being, he had family and friends who loved him. In this case I know a little bit about the man personally, and the impact he had on thousands, maybe millions. I think Gawker was maybe a little easy on him. -- TV or Not TV ....
