I couldn't agree more; Lachman *is* very pretty, but Enver Gjokaj has really turned out (for me, at least) to be one of the most enjoyable parts of this show. He's really shown a lot of versatility, especially this season. And it's been a long time since I laughed as hard as I did a couple of weeks ago when Victor was imprinted with Topher's personality while Topher was in Washington. 'Dollhouse' was my very first exposure to Joss Whedon; I've never seen 'Buffy' or 'Firefly'. I've really wanted to enjoy 'Dollhouse'; I finally gave up on 'Heroes' after last season, and was hoping to find a good sci-fi-ish serial drama to replace it. 'Dollhouse' seemed to fit that bill perfectly, but it's been a little too hit or miss for me. I have seen, though, enough flashes of good writing (Topher's line a couple months back about his work: "I can't fiddle with the mind until it's wiped clean. The human mind is like Van Halen. If you just pull out a piece and keep replacing it, it just degenerates." I found ridiculously funny) to prompt me to add 'Firefly' to the Netflix queue. Hopefully that'll show me a bit more of this Whedon brilliance everyone was talking about going into 'Dollhouse' last year. -- -- Ben Scripps [email protected] -- TV or Not TV ....
