This morning on Fox News Sunday (the show that goes out on the Fox network versus FNC), as part of the predictions of 2010, Brit Hume predicted that Tiger Woods would come back as a golfer, but issues this declaration about the bigger man.
"The Tiger Woods that emerges, once the news value dies out of this scandal, the extent to which he can recover, seems to me depends on his faith. He's said to be a Buddist. I don't think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. So my message to Tiger would be, 'Tiger, turn your faith, turn to the Christian faith, and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world.'" Proselytizing on a major television newscast in your role as a senior political analyst for same network? That's chutzpah, gang! http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/fnc/brit_hume_tiger_turn_to_the_christian_faith_and_you_can_make_a_total_recovery_147675.asp -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
