The forecast in Birmingham, Alabama for Thursday night calls for snow and possibly freezing rain. Having been burned in the past by affiliates interrupting regular broadcasts for pointless weather coverage, the ABC affiliate that covers Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, and Anniston has received a significant number of nastygrams and threats, as Thursday night is the BCS championship game between Texas and...you guessed it...Alabama. So their weather blog has promised that there will be absolutely no break-ins to the game coverage because of weather.
