Even though you don't think of NPR when you think of gritty reporting, with Brian Ross at ABC about the only real investigative reporter left in commercial broadcasting (unless you consider Billo the Clown's buddy Jesse Watters ambushing lefty columnists "investigative reporting") the non-commercial radio net is setting up their first investigative unit under the direction of former CBC reporter Susanne Reber:
