I can see it on the movie poster. As I understand the character (and I think I learned all I need to know from the Pepsi commercial), Macgruber dies at the end of every "mission" or sketch -- and that is the gag -- that he is MacGyver without the ability. How does that translate into a 78 minute feature film? It isn't like the coneheads or even Wayne and Garth where you can put the characters into different situations and either watch them react or watch how others react to them. The only comedy to come from Macgruber comes when he fails his mission -- if there is more to the character/premise, somebody tell me, but I can't see how you can stretch this one to feature length. -- Kevin M.
