Well, to be fair, that's not what Jay said. He never said the words "Don't blame Conan for what's going on." He was discussing NBC's 2004 decision to force Jay off The Tonight Show, and said that Conan shouldn't be blamed for that deal and that he never held a grudge against him over it. That's all. BTW, tonight (Wednesday) Jay responded to Letterman's attack: "Boy, Letterman's really been hammering me! You know what the best way to get Letterman to ignore you is? Marry him." -Tim
