Speaking of legal dramas, iTunes has had the pilot episode of ABC's "The Deep End" available as a free download for a few days now. I have watched it, and, despite it being free, I feel overcharged.
Every character is smug. They exude smugness from every pore in their bodies. Oh, here's a shock: Most of the characters think about nothing but sex. The series is centered around a group of first year associates at a big, Los Angeles law firm. The senior partners are as catty and pretentious as the average teenage girl, so the first year associates have to act as catty and pretentious as a room filled with average teenage cheerleaders to overcompensate. I'm going to have to watch "The Paper Chase" three or four times to rid myself of the uncleanliness I feel having watched the pilot of this series. The show was so bad, I kept looking for David E. Kelley's name in the credits. -- Kevin M. (RPCV) -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
