Wow - Time is really gushing about Vonn too - I guess she will be on their post-Olympic cover. I have not found her ingratiating or appealing at all - she comes across as a whining drama queen to me - I much preferred both the looks and the personality of the other woman skier (something like Mancuso?). The problem with her wisecracks about Tiger is that they don't seem to be particularly funny. If one of my friends let loose with something like that while BSing about Tiger, we would give them the stink eye. I went to a room full of a dozen people Vonn's age or younger right after Tiger's statement and the worst joke was better than this. It is not mean or offensive or disrespectful, just not funny (can you tell this girl has been getting on my nerves all week?). Though yes, I suppose that itself is a qualification for being on SNL. Here is her freaking funny spec sketch for SNL: "Then she describes a skit she would want to perform if asked to host Saturday Night Live: picture Vonn at Woods' podium, blue backdrop and all.
