I have not heard anything bad about her - I stopped watching the Today Show regularly a couple of months after she started. But this item on tvnewser seems like someone is having second thoughts - her contract was up in September of 2010, so they extend it all the way to.....September of 2011? That sounds more to me like NBC wants to hedge their bets and give themselves an option to get out of the Vieira business in the near future. I have not seen the ratings in the last couple of weeks, but Today was losing ground over the previous few months.
