Is the "Postmortem" blog at the Post in place of or in addition to an actual
obituary? The mention of "I Spy" is appropriately highlighted, not so much
for its quality (though it was not bad) but because of its social
significance. But they go on to mention several lesser films, and do not
mention either "Greatest American Hero" or his multiple Columbo appearances.

I always think that prominent guest starts on Columbo should always have
these mentioned in their obits. With the death of Patrick McGohan last year
Culp held the record as the living actor with most Columbo murders (3). That
title now passes to George Hamilton and William Shatner (2 each).
