I'd like to reiterate what Doug said. I first got to hear the Vinyl Cafe in the mid 90's and have a big fan of it ever since. Stuart actually read a story at my university's frosh week one year, as one of his first books has him spending time in Sackville, New Brunswick as part of a series on small towns.
I've been able to see him in a full show in Sackville, as well as St. John's NL and Keswick, Ontario (look it up) and he's been stellar every time. He is very humble but is happy to sign cds and books as well after the show. Also, he's very thoughtful - my buddy had to bail last minute on his ticket as he got called into work last minute. I told this to Stuart and he gave him two free tickets to the Christmas show in Toronto. And, as I currently travel through Australia, nothing makes me laugh more than a good Dave and Morley story. I would imagine he's done a good 100+ stories over the years. If you can find it, "Dave and the Turkey" is a classic. Cheers, Ryan. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
