And despite all of the correct statements about the lousy state of
local TV news, the Peabody folks could still honor the work of San
Francisco Fox affil KTVU (which Mark Roberts frequently pointed out
when he was around was SF's best news shop, even if they weren't what
they used to be), Greenville, SC NBC affil WYFF (which is pre-empting
"Minute to Win It" tonight in prime time to air the newsmag series
where the segment appeared they won for), Houston CBS affil KHOU and
Chicago's Fox-owned WFLD, which is arguably the city's best news shop
right now, despite the stigma of the Fox name and Ailes running the
station group (right now, the only bit of FNC-ness they show is the
rotating logo bug on newscasts).
