Somewhat apropos of the CoCo threads...I watched Tina Fey's return to SNL
yesterday and dug it. Of course I have a Fey Fetish that has not been dimmed
by the years or her periodic Obama hating and bashing of male professional
athletes who cheat on their women. I took my wife to see Date Night saturday
night and was pretty well pleased (I guess my hopes for a little Fey nudity
were never very realistic anyway).

Her bit in Palin drag was pretty good, but was actually made me laugh out
loud was her inclusion, sans any adornment, of "The Tonight Show with Jay
Leno" along side all of the other Tea Party themed Blue State shows on the
Sarah Palin Network (see here if you don't have inclination to watch the
whole thing:

)

There is something odd about Leno on NBC being a Palin show, while I guess
the blue state Conan is now on the southern fried TBS (I still expect them
to be running Dukes of Hazard and maybe even Hee Haw). But as has been noted
more than once recently, Leno and Palin really do have a lot in common
(except Leno is a lot more popular).

I also finally got to see how Justin Bieber is - I have seen several jokes
about him but assumed he was one of the Jonas Brothers (or was he, and now
he has gone solo?). In any case he was funny, if close to the line creepy,
with Fey, though his performances were unwatchable by me.

I put this as the second best SNL of the season (and yes, that is a free
straight line for SNL bashers)...
