I think the difference between their twitter tracker and mine is that
they operate in a world where you can playfully jab or poke fun at
celebrities, but they can't outright offend them because -- well --
they aren't critics of Hollywood, they help to perpetuate Hollywood.

I am planning on writing something about the people I follow on
Twitter who I feel make use of the technology, not to provide a sense
of balance, but (at least in part) to demonstrate that I have
genuinely tried to give Twitter a chance. Just as a broken clock is
right twice a day (unless it is digital), some seem to make efficient
use of the economy of characters offered by Twitter. There are people
who devote time and put creativity into their tweets, but for the most
part, Twitter is either a poorly used propaganda arm or a simple means
of venting random thoughts and emotions.

So Zap2it takes playful jabs at them, but I call them mindless tw*ts
who are destroying the fabric of society. I like my approach better.
