It's pretty much unchangeable now--the nets are convinced that everyone's either out or watching the movie premieres on HBO or Starz on Saturday nights. Every time something on Saturday night (usually a sports event) pulls big numbers, Marc Berman points out that if you put on something people want to watch, they'll watch on Saturday night, but no one listens to him. And it's still reruns, second tier college football, "Cops," "America's Most Wanted" and "48 Hours Mystery" on Saturdays. And everybody's worried that Friday night will go the way of Saturday, although NBC and Fox haven't waved the white flag yet and gone all reality and reruns on Friday, from their schedules. -- TV or Not TV ....
