Based on its perfomance earlier in the season Lie To Me was being rated as a borderline renewal by TVBYTHENUMBERS. Fox had long planned to keep the remaining new shows off the air until after the renewal decisions were made, and the idea was they would see what else they had available and make their best decision. TVBYTHENUMBERS has some kind of formula they use to make their estimates, which seems to factor in the average rating of each show on each network in each slot, and then how much a particular program improves (or falls short) of the expected number. I think it is surprising that Fox has apparently renewed LTM *and* Fringe *and* Human Target, when the word seemed to be that only one of these would likely get renewed (probably LTM). I am pleased with all three renewals. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
