I thought they had been a little coy about her fate - going back and forth a bit about whether she would return. I had not heard if there was a final disposition. We have enough history with Jack McCoy that, even though L&O has famously avoided focusing on character development, we know some of the nuances and contradictions in his life story. For all the talk of interchangable characters, Van Buren and McCoy have both been on the show for a very long time, and have in their own way anchored the show. I would like to see them do a final show that gives some reflection on what he thinks of his career, and life choices, and reveals that he has been boinking the current hot ADA, and that he has come to terms with the death of the last hot ADA he was boinking. -- TV or Not TV ....
