Anyone else pick up this toy yet? Quick first thoughts: The touchscreen keypad is amazing The Maps/GPS feature means I don't need to spend money on a GPS, so that's an almost legitimate reason to buy one Google's voice activated search feature is VERY Star Trek and VERY cool The mobile/iPad version of Gmail royally sucks Facebook needs iPad specific chat support... the iPhone app is clunky
For the record, the bulk of the iPad was paid for my parents of my students, in lieu of flowers, coffee mugs, or all the other girly garbage teachers normally get on Teacher Appreciation Week. -- Kevin M.
