Of course, the problem is that line is wrong as Cartoon Network did run the originals earlier this year. Otherwise it would imply that CN somehow forgot they weren't "child friendly", and as Mark pointed out, they air anything related to Tom and Jerry. In fact, the evidence would more closer point to licensing as the problem. The MGM shorts are more directly under Turner's control. The WB shorts are probably controlled by WB Entertainment.
