Comedy Central will (or maybe it's used to) let some stuff go on special occasions. When "On Bullshit" author Harry Frankfurt came by The Daily Show, the title and any references in the interview to bullshit were okay on the 11:00 run (and maybe the 1 am repeat, I can't remember), but bleeped subsequently.
And then there was that South Park episode where saying shit bleeped and unbleeped was pretty critical to the plot. I suspect that's an episode that might not have gone to syndication. The net let "bullshit" through, but on "Late Show" the next night, Dave proved his point. When he said it live, it was bleeped. When he'd show the clip, they let it pass. --Dave Sikula -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
