Agreed, but used to be that airing an "MNF" with the Bears would be a
no-brainer for WLS, since ratings predictably zoom into the
stratosphere for "MNF" (and since the broadcast "MNF" simulcasts are
considered syndicated programs, even with only two markets airing
"MNF" is usually up there with "Wheel" and "Jeopardy!" and Oprah in
top syndicated programs every week in the fall). Also, WLS is airing
a Bears "MNF" on Dec. 20, a month after "Dancing"'s fall finale.

But considering that WLS' side channels are on all of the cable
systems and are promoted somewhat by the station, seems to me that
they could've kept "MNF" wtih the Bears on Sept. 27 and move "Dancing"
and "Castle" over to one of the DTs for the night.
