The semi-anthology comedy "Love Bites" is off of Comedy Night Done
Right for now, as NBC trundles out the promised hit-by-recession-
civilian edition of "The Apprentice" for fall Thursdays at 10:

The press release didn't state this, but Marc Berman said last week
that the factors on "Bites"' hiatus were the departure of three key
people: Stars Jordana Spiro and Becki Newton (Spiro may be tied up
with another season of "My Boys," Newton had an "unexpected"
pregnancy) and creator/showrunner Cindy Chupack. The series may
premiere mid-season.
