ESPN has effectively given the hour to James, allowed James to dictate who will interview him and what commercials will be sold. But why mention all that in any of their ads?

Two quick asides: I've been in NYC all week, and when I've been in my room at night, ESPN has been on as background noise. I knew Stuart Scott was utterly annoying, but it had been so long since I actually heard him, I had truly forgotten the level of annoyance he reaches.

Also, went to Sunday's Yankees game. They had the YES broadcast on a TV over the stands, and Michael Kay's call via closed caption. He's just as intolerable to read as he is to hear.
